The 40th GTO

It started life as a Dino 256 Formula 1 car, with the approval and some parts like a GTO windscreen supplied by Enzo Ferrari was built in New Zealand as a road going Ferrari with F1 running gear. It weighed about 700kg, 200 less than a GTO had had about 30 more hp. At the time it was considered the worlds fastest fully equipped road going Ferrari, even by Enzo Ferrari.

The car was eventually returned to it's Formula 1 bodywork and chassis.
